Outside Sales Manager


Developed to serve Edmonton's ever growing oil industry HRC Tool & Die has expanded its operations to include mold making, CNC turning & milling, EDM, tap disintegrating & broken stud removal. The company prides itself on being a one-stop-shop and has aggressively moved towards this goal. Since 2000, HRC Tool & Die is ISO certified. All work is carried out in accordance with the relevant codes and standards by suitably qualified personnel.

HRC has 1 position for an outgoing and enthusiastic person as our Outside Sales Manager in Edmonton.


  • Supervise and coordinate all sales functions to see that customers are served in a timely manner.
  • Prepare quotations for new customer specifications.
  • Oversee orders and inquiries from customers in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing / fabrication facility meets customer requirements.
  • Liaise between department supervisors and purchasing department to ensure quick and accurate quoting.
  • Disseminate all price change information to the General Manager and the Administration Manager.
  • Ensure that the company quality system is implemented and properly functioning in all areas of the Sales Department.
  • Review and audit past performance of previous orders to make recommendations for improvement as required.
  • Coordinate with the Purchaser for all material requirements to ensure timely delivery of goods purchased.


  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in an outside sales role.
  • Supervisory experience is an asset.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Familiarity with metallurgy and ability to read drawings is an asset.
  • CNC Lathe and Milling machinery operation experience is desired.
  • Quick and accurate with mental calculation.
